DAN ANDREW
Dan Andrew is Covert’s VFX Creative Director and Supervisor, shaping the studio’s visual storytelling with a wealth of experience in motion graphics and post-production. As the founder of The VFX Studio at Smoke & Mirrors London, Dan spent eight years as Studio Creative Director, later leading teams at JAM VFX before bringing his expertise to Covert.
From CG animation to live-action VFX, Dan’s creative instincts and technical expertise have defined high-profile promos, channel idents, and title sequences worldwide. His work has earned him two Yellow Pencils from D&AD and multiple Gold and Silver Promax awards, solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field.
When Dan’s not perfecting pixels, he’s escaping screens entirely – paddleboarding, BBQing, and tackling gardening (with mixed success) at his Danish cabin. Precision might define his VFX work, but his approach to grilling? Slap dash baby.
