Covert brought its VFX and online mastery to the spirited Kahlúa St Patrick's Day campaign, challenging Guinness's long-standing association with the holiday. In a bold move crafted by Wieden+Kennedy London, Kahlúa presents the espresso martini as a stirring alternative for those looking to diverge from the traditional stout.
The campaign unfolds through clever OOH advertisements and a dynamic commercial, directed by Michael Lennox of Derry Girls fame. It features the beloved Irish TikTok duo Tadhg and Derry Fleming, alongside Ian Ryan, a stout connoisseur and founder of Beautiful Pints. With additional social content from Ryan, the Flemings, and ex-Irish Rugby player Rory Best, the campaign injects a fresh perspective into St Patrick's Day festivities.
