HARVEY GUNN
Harvey Gunn is Covert’s resident sonic architect - blurring the lines between sound design, composition, and music production with an instinctive ear for storytelling. Whether crafting immersive soundscapes for global campaigns or producing chart-topping tracks, Harvey operates at the intersection of technical precision and raw creativity.
He earned his stripes in the audio world working as an editor and engineer at post-houses in Soho and Brighton, shaping the sonic identity of live-action TV, animation, and high-profile ad campaigns. Since setting up shop on his own, Harvey has collaborated with some of the world’s biggest brands - including Pepsi, Paramount, Disney, and Guinness - bringing award-winning campaigns to life through sound.
Beyond the commercial world, Harvey is a heavyweight in the UK music scene. As one-half of Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, his genre-blending production has racked up hundreds of millions of streams and led to collaborations with BRIT-nominated artists like Loyle Carner and Kojey Radical. His ability to translate emotion into sound, whether for a brand or a beat, is what sets him apart.
At Covert, Harvey’s toolbox is stacked - sound design, foley, original composition, music consultancy, dialogue editing & restoration, final mix - you name it, he can dream it (and make it sound damn good). And when he’s not locked in the studio fine-tuning frequencies? He’s probably crate-digging for obscure vinyl or lost in an endless quest for the perfect synth patch.
